Little Squeak
Squeak (like many characters in many games) is in trouble. His ravenous appetite has drawn the attention of several colourful cats who intended to teach the little rodent some self-control and discipline. Well, time to them who is the guinea pig in this hostile environment!
Navigate many rooms collecting snacks while evading cats with different personalities (and issues). Collect cheese to briefly turn the tails on the chase and give the cats something to fear.

- Changes to the keyboard set will not take place until after the player leaves the OPTIONS page.
- The default setup when playing for the first time is Keyboard Set 1. If this is an issue, the touch screen buttons can be controlled with a mouse to allow a player access to the OPTIONS page and change the setup to one of the WASD options.
Navigate each round and collect all the treats and cheese on the map.
- When the player collects a glowing cheese, it gives the mouse a boost in power, which causes the cats to tremble in fear, allowing the mouse to bite them and force them to retreat to their home to lick their wounds (albeit briefly).
- Every 15 seconds, a random snack appears under the cat home that the player can collect for extra bonus.
- Starting at 5000 points, a player can earn an extra life. As the player earns bonus lives, more points will be required to earn the next one. (+7,5000, +10,000, etc.)
- When the cat makes contact with the mouse, the player will lose a life. It is game over when the player loses all lives.

Latest Updates
Version 1.00 - Build 1 (October 30th, 2024)
A few bugs were found and fixed:
- In the high score section, the value for player's lives were being pulled for high score, rather than their current round. Also, replaced "LVL" with "RND." to keep the things consistent on the HIGH SCORE page.
- The 'chase' that happens at the bottom of the screen (High Score and Options) no longer pulls the starting points from the wrong place.
- Pausing a game and selecting 'OPTIONS' no longer sends the player back to the main menu.
- A bug has been reported where the 'whakka whakka' sound may stop playing after events happened during the game. I was unable to replicate this, but I did play around with the script that controls the priorities of which sounds are played as the game plays. Maybe that fixed it? I cannot say...
