Super Highland Machine DOWN
There was a (brief) problem where defeating a boss would crash the game. It has been fixed.
This project is a WIP (that is nearing completion) I wanted to have done in time for the end of the year, but winters in the white north dumped countless feet of snow over the last week, making such a dream almost impossible to achieve.

Updates
January 15th, 2025 (Build 0.99b)
- Fixed a problem where the game can crash when a boss is defeated.
January 12th, 2025 (Build 0.99, 0.99a)
- Pretty much the (one step shy from being complete) build has been uploaded. This includes all the weapons, enemies, 7 stages, etc. I feel like something is missing, though I am not sure (yet) what it is. Hi-Score system and Options now works.
(Update)
- Found a capsule pickup on the 4th map. It has been changed to a floating pickup.
- An issue was found with the Burst Laser 2nd upgrade, but I was unable to duplicate it locally. I made changes to a variable, so we will have to see if that fixes the problem or not.
- A few balance changes made to affect late-game enemies.
- An out-of-bounds issue was discovered when the player tried to fly to far down.
- A variable issue was found with a first-time playthrough that completed the game. The game would freeze, preventing the player from entering in a high score.
January 2nd, 2025 (Build 0.02)
- "Title Screen" and "New Game" have been included. This allows the player to select their difficulty.
- Three music tracks have been created.
- A "Game Over" screen now happens when the player's craft is destroyed.
- Bugs and fixes mostly related to sound issues.
December 31st, 2025 (Build 0.01)
- A WIP prototype has been uploaded to the site.
